Meet Dottie Delight, an 18-week-old Jack Russel Terrier mix, weighing approx. 26 pounds (as of 8/20/26). The DELIGHT litter were born on the streets of Puerto Rico and were rescued with their mom when they were only 2 days old. They're looking forward to finding the best fur-ever home!
Dottie is a sweet, smart, playful and social girl who lives by the motto: "Girls just want to have fun!" And she does! You'll always smile with her around and even when you're not, she'll distract you from the craziness of life with her silly antics and puppy love. Lucky you! She loves her chew toys and stuffed animals and will greet everyone she sees: strangers, teens, kids, dogs, cats, and even ghosts! Dottie also rides well in a car. Did we mention she's been learning to go to the bathroom outside/use puppy pad? What can't this girl do?! Maybe juggle on a unicycle.
Gorgeous, adorable and with an amazing personality, the DELIGHT pups are ready to receive all the love they can get! The Delights are simple dogs, no traumas, no issues; just enjoying life the way it should be intended with a cool glass of lemonade on the beach. Since they are young, they love to play, play and receive love, cuddle time and belly rubs. They don't have experience with leashes yet, but they've spent some time in crates (they roam free around the foster's house) and have a strict routine at night. The Delight pups will be great for a family that has time to walk them and train them.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
