Meet Sunny, a little ray of sunshine who is ready to brighten someone's life!

Sunny is a petite Boston Terrier mix weighing just 10 pounds, and she is every bit as sweet as her name suggests. Found as a stray in a rural area and taken to an overcrowded shelter, Sunny could have easily been overlooked. Thankfully, we were able to pull her to safety and place her in a loving foster home where her wonderful personality is shining through.

She loves her people and wants nothing more than to be wherever they are. Shell happily curl up beside you on the couch—or, mimicking a cat, snuggle up on the back of the couch—and she's just as happy tagging along for your next adventure. She has a playful spirit, loves attention, and gets along wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats. With her small size, she's the perfect little companion who can fit right into your lap, your home, and your heart.

Sunny is scheduled for cherry eye surgery on August 20th and will be ready for her forever home once she has healed. She is also still working on her potty training, so she'll do best with a family willing to continue her progress with a consistent routine and regular opportunities to go outside. She's a smart girl who is learning, and a home where someone is around much of the day will give her the best chance to succeed.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $400 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix. It is based on physical characteristics and any known history.
