Meet Raven!

Raven's story began during a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project. Her mama was trapped, only for everyone to discover she was about to give birth! Not long afterward, Raven and her siblings arrived, giving them the chance to grow up safely instead of facing life outdoors. Now this sweet little family—all dressed in sleek black coats, just like their mama—is ready to find loving homes of their own.

Raven is a beautiful little panther with a touch of cat-titude. She's a sweet girl who simply needs a little time to settle into new surroundings. Once she realizes she's safe, her loving personality shines, and she'll reward your patience with plenty of affection. Watching a shy kitten blossom into a confident companion is one of the most rewarding experiences, and Raven is well worth the wait.

Kittens raised together keep each other entertained, burn off endless energy, and grow into confident, happy adult cats. If you already have a friendly, playful cat at home, that's wonderful too, as Raven would love to have a feline friend to show her the ropes.

Kittens are busy little creatures! You can expect Raven to zoom through the house at top speed, scale the cat tree like it's Mount Everest, chase toy mice, investigate every corner of her new home, and then crash into the cutest nap positions imaginable. She would do fine with respectful children who understand that kittens are delicate, have tiny sharp claws, and need gentle handling. Though an older household might be more her style.

Raven is currently living in a foster home with dogs. They still startle her a bit, but with slow introductions and a calm, cat-friendly pup, she should transition just fine into a home with canine companions.

Black cats are often the last to be chosen, but we think they're some of the most stunning and loving companions you'll ever meet. Raven is hoping someone will look past old superstitions and see what we see—a beautiful little kitten with a lifetime of love to give.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing cats in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This cat is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $175 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our cats are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
