Meet Esther! At just 3 months old, Esther has already had some lucky breaks. She and her siblings were brought to an overcrowded shelter where they were going to be euthanized, but thankfully they found a surrogate mama, made their way into our rescue, and got the second chance every kitten deserves. When they first arrived, they were tiny, not the healthiest, and in need of lots of extra TLC. Today Esther has made a full recovery and is healthy, happy, and ready to start the best chapter of her life.

Esther is a striking gray tabby with the prettiest golden specks woven throughout her coat, giving her a look that's as special as she is. She is playful, curious, and always ready to investigate a new toy or explore her surroundings. She is also deeply affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up for a cozy nap and purring after a busy day of kitten adventures.

The handsome buff tabby featured in some of Esther's photos is her brother Promise. We love adopting out sibling pairs and even offer a discount if you adopt two! Kittens raised together keep each other entertained, burn off endless energy, and grow into confident, happy adult cats. If you already have a friendly, playful cat at home, that's wonderful too, as Esther would love to have a feline friend to show her the ropes.

Kittens are busy little creatures, so you can expect Esther to zoom through the house at top speed, scale the cat tree like it's Mount Everest, chase toy mice, and then crash into the cutest nap positions imaginable. Esther would do great in a home with respectful children who understand that kittens are delicate, have tiny sharp claws, and need gentle handling. She hasn't been around dogs yet, but she's young enough to learn how to adapt to living with a cat-friendly pup.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This cat is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $175 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our cats are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
