Meet Angel! And please, before you scroll past her because "she's not a puppy anymore", let us tell you something very important: Angel is still a baby. She's just a BIG baby with an even BIGGER heart.

Angel has been in foster care with us since she was a tiny little tot. Seven months later, she's grown into a beautiful 50+ pound Bully/Staffy/Boxer mix with the sweetest personality you'll ever meet. Her foster mom calls her a big marshmallow, and honestly, we couldn't describe her any better.

Angel is the kind of dog who loves with her whole entire being. She LOVES people. She loves belly rubs. She loves cuddle time. She loves playing in her puppy pool on a warm day. She loves chewing on her favorite chew stick. She loves Milk-Bones. And if you really want to win her heart? Bring peanut butter.

She also loves her crate, although her foster mom keeps the door open and lets Angel come and go as she pleases. She's perfectly happy to wander in for a nap or some quiet time and then come back out to see what everyone else is doing.

But the thing Angel loves most? Her people. Angel wants to be your best friend. Your couch snuggle buddy. Your walking partner. Your faithful shadow. Your enthusiastic greeting committee when you walk through the door. And your biggest fan, every single day. She has so much love to give that sometimes we wonder how her heart even holds it all.

And yet... Angel keeps getting overlooked. Maybe its because she isn't a tiny puppy anymore. Maybe people see that 50+ pound body and don't realize there is still a goofy, playful, affectionate baby underneath it all. But here's the thing about Angel: she may have grown, but her greatest gift has never changed. Its her HEART.

While Angel has a best buddy in her foster sister Macie, we think she'd be happiest as your one and only—she really wants all your love and attention anyway, and would absolutely love being the center of your world. She'd be fine with older kids who are sturdy enough to handle a big goofy pup. She loves teenagers.

Angel is one of our Underdogs. And there is something incredibly special about being the person who finally says, "I see you. You're the one I've been looking for."

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $350 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee full grown size or breed mix. Both are guesses based on physical characteristics and any known history.
