Molly - Beagle Dog for Adoption in South Plainfield, New Jersey

She's 3 1/2-year-old, loves, loves, loves life, everyone she's met and every new thing she's tried. She's Molly and she is looking for her forever family.

When it comes to food, Molly is not your typical beagle. She enjoys her food but takes her time eating her meals. Molly is crate trained, keeping it clean and dry. She sleeps through the night there and goes into her crate by herself to rest. She is still working to perfect her house training and that will be completed in her forever home.
Molly thoroughly enjoys her daily one-hour walks. She takes in the new smells of the neighborhood, seeing the sights and, most of all, meeting the people and dogs along the route. She is beginning to learn chasing the ball and playing fetch along with play with soft toys. Molly can still become startles by loud noises, cars and trucks but is improving every day.
A few of the absolute pleasures Molly enjoys are riding in the car, sitting on your lap, watching TV, cuddling, belly rubs and all the attention she can get from her foster mom and dad.
We believe Molly is adaptable to a number of different home settings. A free stand home with a fenced in yard or an apartment or condo could work for this non-vocal pup. A home with another dog to teach her all the "dog things" she needs to know like zoomies, tug, and chase would be super. She totally enjoys being outside investigating her yard and smelling all the beautiful flowers. She totally enjoys looking out the front window watching the world pass by and then a nap curled up on her favorite chair. Since she really enjoys her quiet time, older (greater than5 years old) children and a family that takes regular walks would enhance her home life. Perhaps a family member who works from home or a retired couple would make her life fuller. She is a super lap dog - loves attention and being with her humans.

Thinking about adopting me? Here’s how:
1. Fill out an application found at www.happypawsrescue.org under the *ADOPT* tab.
2. Please allow 5-7 business days for us to review and respond to your application.
3. Approved applicants will be invited to come meet me at a scheduled meet and greet or adoption event.
4. If both you and the rescue agree that the dog you meet is a good fit for your home, you will fill out an adoption contract and exchange a small adoption fee. Your dog can go home the day of the Meet & Greet.
5. We generally adopt to families within a 90 mile radius of our home base in Piscataway, NJ but may consider farther distances in the tri-state region if volunteers are available. If you live beyond our geographical boundaries, we hope you will contact rescue organizations closer to your home.
