Carlo - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Carlo may be small in size, but he's HUGE in personality! This adorable scruffy pup is sweet, affectionate, enthusiastic, playful, and absolutely convinced that being your baby is a full-time job.

Carlo may be petite-y, but he has plenty of pizzazz packed into that little body! He's a total baby in a dog suit who loves being held, soaking up attention, and making sure everyone knows just how excited he is to be with his people. He has experience with people of all ages and even enjoys a little conversation now and then. Usually in the form of an entertaining spunky bark to keep things interesting!

When he's not busy being adorable, Carlo loves to play. He has experience with other dogs and enjoys having four-legged friends to romp around with, and he's also lived with cats and has shown that he can coexist nicely with his feline roommates. And when it comes to toys, Carlo is a very big fan-especially if he can pick one up and proudly carry it around like he just won his very own championship!

Carlo is mostly house trained and well-behaved while being left on his own, but while adjusting to a new environment, a predictable routine, patience, and consistency will help him settle in and continue building good habits.

Most of all, Carlo is ready to find a forever family who will appreciate his big heart, tiny paws, scruffy good looks, and delightfully spunky personality. He has so much love to give and cannot wait to become the best little canine companion you could ask for.

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.
