Big hugs. Soft fur. And a heart so sweet we're not entirely sure how it all fits inside one dog.
Yall, meet Cash.
He's an 8-month-old, 39-pound Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle mix with the most beautiful soulful brown eyes, adorable orange patches, and fur so ridiculously soft that we're fairly certain somebody accidentally made this dog out of a luxury blanket.
And somehow, his personality is even sweeter than his face.
Cash is the biggest of his brothers, but apparently nobody told him that being the biggest means you're supposed to be the boss. While his smaller siblings are busy running around acting like they own the place, Cash is usually just wondering if somebody would be kind enough to give him a hug.
And boy, does this dog LOVE hugs.
We're talking full-time, professional-level affection. Cash is the kind of dog who wants to be close to his people, soaking up every bit of love they're willing to give. He's gentle, affectionate, and has this wonderful way of looking at you with those big brown eyes that makes you feel like you're the most important person in the world.
And honestly, to Cash, you probably are.
But don't mistake all that sweetness for a lack of personality. Cash loves a good adventure! He's happy to head outside, explore somewhere new, play with his dog friends, and see what the world has to offer.
And when the adventure is over? He's equally happy to come home, claim a spot beside you on the couch, and spend the afternoon doing absolutely nothing productive.
Cash believes in work-life balance. Although, to be fair, he hasn't actually worked a day in his life.
He's got that lovely moderate energy level where he enjoys daily walks and playtime but doesn't need you to run a marathon before breakfast. He's just as happy being your weekend adventure buddy as he is being your Tuesday-night Netflix companion.
When it comes to other dogs, Cash is a total sweetheart. He's friendly, playful, and easygoing, happily letting his more opinionated friends call the shots. He enjoys wrestling, chasing, and playing with his buddies, but he's also independent enough to be perfectly content as an only dog.
He's wonderful with children, too, and has even been living peacefully with a cat. Apparently, Cash missed the memo that dogs are supposed to find cats suspicious. He's got no interest in causing trouble.
He's also fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is eager to please. He's a smart boy who responds well to gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. He hasn't had much crate training yet, so his future family will need to help him learn that particular life skill.
Cash can be a little cautious when meeting someone new or exploring an unfamiliar place, but give him a few minutes and that

The Truth About Rescue:
Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.
Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.
Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
