Meet Ren!

Ren came to our rescue with other dogs from a 40+ animal hoarding situation where the owners were quickly overwhelmed. The dogs weren't ever taken off the property or socialized away from home so they are now learning how to dog!

Ren is a shy girl at first that tries her very best to be brave. Every day she takes in new sights and smells and is slowly learning that leashes are okay, people are okay, car rides are okay, etc. We can see her trying to be a little more open every day but this girl is finally ready to have her own family that she loves and trusts that will patiently show her the very best things life has to offer! She may not be the kind of dog you can take out on the town yet, but she would love to be a part of someone's world one day.

When Ren feels comfortable, she loves to zoom around and play and toys are her favorite thing in the world! She would really benefit from a confident dog friend that will teach her that everything will be alright in her life from here on out until they get to the romp around the yard stage of their relationship. She hasn't ever had to be on her own without another dog companion, so we prefer that she has a buddy in her future home. Cats and kids are okay too. Kids 10 and up are preferred as she will be shy and need quiet and patience in the beginning. As leash walking is a newly acquired skill, a fenced in yard in required.
