Meet Nala!

Some puppies enter the world surrounded by warmth and safety. Nala wasn’t one of them.

Our rescue team was called to help a mama dog and her newborn puppies living in absolutely heartbreaking conditions. What our volunteers found was devastating—filth, neglect, and tragedy. One puppy had already died, and another tiny baby was discovered trapped in a chain link fence with flies swarming. It was a scene no animal should ever endure.

Thankfully, Nala’s story didn’t end there. Today, this beautiful girl is safe, loved, and discovering how wonderful life can be. In foster care, Nala has blossomed into a happy, silly, affectionate puppy who believes every day should include playtime, snacks, and as many cuddles as possible. She loves romping around with her siblings, investigating absolutely everything, and then crashing hard for puppy naps after all the excitement.

Nala has the kind of personality that makes people fall in love fast. She’s sweet without being shy, playful without being too wild, and she has that irresistible puppy charm where even her mischief is adorable. Like any young pup, she’ll need guidance, patience, and training as she grows—but she’s more than worth the effort.

She’s young enough to do well with other pets and would love a family who can handle all the energy and fun that comes with raising a puppy. Because make no mistake—puppies are messy, busy, chaotic little creatures. But they’re also pure joy wrapped in fur.

Nala survived a terrible beginning, and now we’re determined to find her the kind of home where she’ll never experience hardship again. A home where she’ll be cherished, spoiled, and loved for the rest of her life.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimated based on any known history and physical observations. We cannot guarantee she will stay under 60lbs.
