OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Pippin was picked up as a stray by our dog warden, and unfortunately no one came forward to reclaim him. He can be a little shy when first meeting someone, but he usually does not take long to decide that you are a friend. Pippin can also be fearful of new experiences and would benefit from someone patient who can help him build confidence and learn that new things can be safe.

Once he feels comfortable, Pippin's playful personality really comes out, especially if there are stuffed toys involved. Pippin is good with cats and walks fairly well on leash. In the kennel environment he tends to be quieter and can seem a little down, although he may bark when people pass by or approach. Outside of his kennel, he is a much happier, more playful dog. He is smart and observant, and you can tell he is always taking in everything happening around him. Pippin is a sweet, sensitive boy who would likely blossom once he is settled into a home of his own.
