OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Gia may be the smallest pup in her litter, but she more than makes up for her size with her big personality.

This bubbly little girl is full of life, curiosity, and fun. She has a moderate energy level with plenty of adorable wiggles and loves being part of whatever her people are doing. Whether she’s heading out for an adventure, riding in the car, playing, or simply hanging out with her family, Gia is happiest when she’s included. And when the excitement winds down, Gia is more than happy to switch gears and become a professional cuddler. She loves attention, affection, hugs, and snuggles and settles nicely when it’s time to relax.

Gia is also already house trained and crate trained, walks well on leash, rides beautifully in the car, and is comfortable around people and other dogs. She doesn’t need a yard or another dog to be happy, making her a wonderful option for a variety of homes, including apartment living. With her striking jet-black coat, soft waves, fluffy mane, and unmistakable Chow Chow looks, Gia is one gorgeous little girl. But it’s her happy, affectionate personality that truly makes her special.

Gia came into rescue after her mother was allowed to become pregnant without being spayed. Rather than allowing the puppies to be given away without proper veterinary care or screening, Gia was brought into rescue so she could have a safe start and find the loving home she deserves. Now, this sweet girl is ready for the next chapter of her life.
