Scooby (20260909-03)
DOB: 03/12/2024 Estimated
Age: 2 years
Weight: 51-60 lbs

Spayed/Neutered: Yes

Scooby is a sweet, playful boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for his food! He loves getting outside, where his first order of business is usually to run like the wind and burn off some energy. Once he gets those initial zoomies out, he settles nicely into a more moderate energy level.

Scooby loves playing ball and is perfectly happy entertaining himself, making him a fun companion without needing constant attention. He already knows several commands, including sit, down, leave it, and “Scooby, come.” He is house trained, crate trained, walks on leash and rides well in the car. On walks, he may pull with excitement at first but settles as he gets going.

Scooby has done well with men, women, children and other dogs. His experience with cats has been limited. When tested with cats outside a fenced area, he showed curiosity and interest in what they were but did not appear to fixate on them. A future home with a cat would therefore depend on the individual cat, careful introductions and appropriate supervision. S

Scooby would be happiest in a home with a yard, with a large yard being ideal so he has plenty of space to run and play. He does not need another dog in the home. Apartment living would not be the best fit for this vocal guy — especially around mealtime, when he has no problem letting everyone know just how excited he is for dinner! Overall, Scooby is a happy, affectionate and playful boy who already has a great foundation of training. He’s looking for a home where he can enjoy plenty of outdoor play, continue practicing his manners and, of course, never miss a meal!
