OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Bucky was found as a stray and was never reclaimed. He started out a little shy, but his confidence and personality have really blossomed in foster care. He loves exploring the yard when his people are outside with him and his tail wags whenever he meets another dog. He encourages other dogs to play but is never pushy.

Bucky is affectionate, gentle, happy, smart and playful, and he has become an absolute joy to have around. He listens beautifully and comes when called. At bedtime, he happily goes into his kennel for a treat, and he has also done well sleeping loose in the office. He can be a little hesitant taking food from a hand, but he has no problem accepting a Pupparoni treat! He eats his dry kibble well and has the shiniest little white teeth.

Bucky has recently discovered the joy of toys and now starts playing as soon as the sun comes up! He collects his toys throughout the day and carefully puts them either in his kennel or on his blanket. He may still be learning what a bone is, but he definitely understands the importance of treats! Bucky wears his imaginary PF Flyers because he can run faster, jump higher and fly free.

This little guy has truly come into his bigger-than-life personality and is thoroughly enjoying life. He would love a family who will continue to encourage his confidence and let his happy, playful personality shine.
