**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**
***Colin and Archie are a pair of bonded brothers. They are looking forward to charming their new family together!
Mary, Dickon, Archibald and Colin were rescued from a rural eastern Ontario colony. They were named after the characters in the musical, The Secret Garden.
Colin is an independent, playful kitten, and has a calm personality. He is usually the first to greet you and meow for food. Churus are his absolute favourites, and he will bite down on the tube so he can get even more. Colin is the smallest of the bunch, and loves cuddling. Once he has claimed you as his own, he will come for nose kisses and get super comfy with you. You can usually find him sleeping with his siblings, especially Archie. If he's not sleeping with them, he is most likely going to crawl up and sleep on you. Colin does not understand the concept of personal space!
This fun and energetic kitten is easy to handle and loves playing with ping pong balls and wand toys. Colin has great appetite and litter habits, and is looking forward to exploring a brave new world with his brother Archie as his sidekick.
Would you like to make Colin and Archie a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
