Peanut - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

***Peanut is a young cat luckily rescued while trappers were trying to contain a momma and het kittens. She is now saved from having to live a tough life outdoors. It was a miracle that she was not pregnant, considering her age. Although she has not had cat friends while in foster, she would likely do well with a calm, social cat buddy in her forever home.

Peanut is a lissome lady in feline form — delicate and full of grace, especially with her lanky limbs and charcoal grey markings. She is well-mannered and gentle, and enjoys lounging around all day long if she is not posing with elegant ease. Her curiosity about what's happening around her will lead her to follow you around as you go about your day, unless she wants to return to her nap, preferably on your lap of course.

Peanut is easy to handle and will settle down wherever she's placed, and often lounges nearby within reach of a loving hand. She also enjoys cuddling close at bedtime, but respecting her and your space as befitting her ladylike demeanour. She absolutely loves being pet and will often reach out with a paw to encourage such, and sometimes asks for kisses too.

Peanut enjoys having company during mealtimes and goes crazy for treats. She is a super gentle and precious cat, with lots of love to offer for someone seeking a furry soulmate.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
