Casey (bonded with Alice) - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

Casey and Alice are an absolutely lovely bonded pair of girls looking for a home where they can stay together. They have different personalities that balance each other perfectly, but both enjoy being close to their people.

Casey is a little more independent during playtime and is happy entertaining herself, though she's often the first to settle in for a couch cuddle. She loves food (like a lot!) and will happily supervise mealtime, so portion control is important for her.

Together, they're affectionate companions who are well-adjusted to the bustle of family life. Casey especially likes to keep track of her people and may wait outside the bathroom door or follow you from room to room. They've lived with older children and are comfortable around the activity of a busy household. When visitors arrive, they may take a moment to assess: sometimes they'll come right out to investigate, and other times they may hang back until they've decided the newcomer passes inspection.

They play together beautifully, sleep curled up together, and enjoy each other's company throughout the day. At night, they usually choose a spot together on the couch rather than seeking out separate sleeping areas.

Casey and Alice are easy housemates. They use the litterbox reliably, enjoy their cat tree and sturdy scratching post, love being brushed, and are healthy. They eat primarily dry food as they are fussy with wet food, but their future guardians should continue to experiment with a variety of brands and flavours. They do drink plenty of water, and appreciate the occasional treat, whether freeze-dried proteins or Temptations.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
