Via Rail is ready to board for his next adventure and make his way to his very own furrever home. This adorable little guy has a sweet, friendly purrsonality, and one look into his stunning bright green eyes, and you’ll be head over heels in love! He’s around 10 months old and was trapped as a stray along the railway... cue the name!

Via Rail was very timid and cautious when he first arrived, but thanks to our amazing cat whisperers, his confidence has blossomed. He's still a little shy with new people, but instead of running away, he now greets visitors in his room. Once he knows you’re a friend, Via Rail is quite affectionate and enjoys attention and pets, though he does appreciate a slow, gentle approach. Sit down with him and Via Rail will happily tuck himself up beside you. Playful and curious, but without that whirlwind kitten energy, he has a relaxed, easygoing nature. Via Rail is great with other cats and has formed a deep friendship with his shelter pal, Caboothang. They are a bonded pair and will need to find their furrever home together. Via Rail would be happiest in a peaceful, calm, adult-only home. While he's made wonderful progress, Via Rail will need some time and gentle encouragement as he continues to come out of his shell and let his purrsonality really shine! He’s healthy and uses his litter box well.
