Dwayne Johnson - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Just like his namesake, Dwayne Johnson is a big, strapping boy with plenty of purrsonality to match! We’re still getting to know this handsome 1.5 year old tabby, but so far, we’ve found him to be sweet and friendly. He can be a touch shy at first, taking a moment to observe you and his surroundings. He’s active and curious, always interested in keeping tabs on what’s happening around him. When his shelter pals get a little playtime going, Dwayne is never far away from the action!

Dwayne was adopted as a kitten, but his first home just wasn’t quite the right fit. He didn’t have much opportunity to learn some of the usual kitten boundaries when he was young, so he’s still figuring out how to communicate his needs. He’ll need experienced adopters who can read his body language and are happy to teach him with patient, gentle guidance and encouragement. An adult-only home will be the best fit for Dwayne. So far, he has been getting along nicely with his shelter mates. He’d be purrfectly happy as your one and only, but a friendly, laid-back resident cat could be a good companion for him too. Dwayne is healthy and a pro at using his litter box.

With the right home, we feel Dwayne will settle right in and be a wonderful companion for many years to come. He’s a young guy who is ready to make a lifetime of memories with a family and start his next furrever adventure!
