Our little Locomoto is ready for her next stop: a furrever home! This adorable tuxie girl is around 9 months old and came to us after being trapped with her sibling and several other cats along the railroad tracks.
Initially, Locomoto was a timid, cautious wallflower, unsure about people and preferring to keep her distance. However, with time and the help of her confident shelter pals, Locomoto is discovering that people can be kind and maybe even a little fun! She’s learning just how exciting playtime can be, and we’re seeing more of her curious, sweet purrsonality every day. Locomoto is still a little shy, but she will come up to say hello and is happy to share her space with you. She's not quite ready for hands-on affection, but if you offer your hand, she will rub her face into it, purring away. Once Locomoto has the security of a furrever home and time to settle in, we feel she will really blossom. We are pretty pawsitive there’s a lovebug in there just waiting to emerge!
An adult-only home, or one with older, mature children who are gentle and respectful, would be the best fit for Locomoto. The noise and activity of younger children would be too overwhelming. One absolute "must" for this girl is a feline friend! Locomoto loves having other cats around and is often found curled up or hanging out with her shelter pals. A friendly resident cat will help build her confidence and give her a buddy to keep her company. Locomoto is a happy, healthy girl with purrfect litter box manners.
