What's New - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

What’s New brings that special big orange energy, with a little sprinkle of spice. He arrived with some cattitude, but after life on the tough streets as a stray, we can’t really blame him for being a little distrustful. Now, he’s relaxed and has settled into a lovable grumpy charm that we’ve all come to adore. What’s New is discovering that people aren’t so bad after all, and that indoor life comes with some pretty nice perks, like regular meals, cozy beds and safe places to nap (and he takes his naptime very, very seriously!). What’s New is friendly and will come over to say hello and enjoy your company, but when it comes to affection, he prefers to keep things hands-off, for now. He’s more of an “admire me with your eyes” kind of guy.

At 5 years old, What’s New would be a purrfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat with an independent spirit and a character all his own. He’ll need a cat-savvy, adult-only home that understands his need for personal space and is happy to let him be himself. With time, patience and trust, we’re sure there’s still more of his softer side to discover. What’s New is happiest flying solo, so he’ll need to be the only cat in his new home. Aside from a few battle scars from his stray days and being FIV+, he has no known health concerns. Because he's FIV+, What’s New is eligible for our Permanent Foster Program. We’ll cover his medical expenses for life, provided he is seen by one of our veterinarians in Maple Ridge or Cloverdale.
