Fun Bobby is officially ready to hang up his hat as the nieghbourhood tough guy and retire in a loving furrever home! He is 2 years old and was transferred to us from the island as a stray, covered in a mix of old and new wounds, three broken teeth, and, to no surprise, he was not neutered. When Fun Bobby first came to us, he wasn’t exactly “fun.” He was frightened and understandably wary of people, and that fear often came out as anger. But with plenty of TLC from our volunteers — and getting that all-important big snip — his tough exterior has slowly started to melt away, and we’re getting to see the soft, sweet boy underneath.
Fun Bobby enjoys pets, but he asks that you go slow and gentle. He’s still a little unsure of head pets, but along his back and around his bum? That’s where you’ll find his sweet spot! Fun Bobby be quite the couch potato and will snuggle up close beside you. Once you’ve developed a friendship, he may even climb right into your lap. Fun Bobby would love a quiet, relaxed adult-only home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. He’d be purrfectly happy as your one and only, but he doesn’t mind having feline company around and could potentially live with a laid-back, non-dominant cat buddy. His stray days may have left him with a few scars, but otherwise, Fun Bobby is healthy with excellent litter box manners.
Fun Bobby is ready to find his special family and the safe, loving furrever home he deserves. To learn more about Fun Bobby or to arrange a visit to the shelter, please reach out or fill out an application. You are also welcome to visit us during our Open House, held every Saturday and Sunday from 12 -2 pm.
