Eileen is a sweet girl looking for a place to finally call home. She was owner surrendered by someone who had been caring for and feeding her after finding her, but unfortunately they weren’t able to keep her long term.

She can be shy at first and will likely need some time to adjust to new surroundings. Eileen may hide in the beginning while she figures things out, so starting her off in a smaller, quiet room where she can settle in at her own pace would help her feel more comfortable and secure.

According to the person who cared for her, Eileen did well with their dog and even enjoyed playing and napping together, showing that once she feels safe, she has a gentle and affectionate side waiting to shine.

With patience and understanding, Eileen has the potential to blossom into a loving companion who will appreciate having a place—and people—to finally call her own.
