Pancake Ga. - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in West Peoria, Illinois

This Itty Bitty Pancake spent the first several months of her life surviving out on the streets and mostly living in fear of people. She was recently trapped by a community member and has begun trusting people.

She's spent the last month developing into a very sweet, charming, little lady who likes to follow you around the house and talk with you about all the goings on in life. She loves being pet and showered with love and is also an excellent biscuit maker.

She enjoys playing but is still learning to play with humans and toys. She will sometimes try to wrestle and bite hands when she is feeling frisky. In these moments Pancake does well with a gentle, but firm, "No" or "Ah ah" while pulling your hand away. She will also accept kicker toys as a replacement for hands.

The biggest thing Pancake wants her potential adopters to know is that she may take a little time to fully warm up. She is friendly andaffectionate, but she also lived a scary, uncertain life and is still learning that there are many humans that can be trusted. That trust can be earned with a little patience and a can of wet food.

The adoption fee covers their spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, flea/tick preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration. You can apply at https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptcat/
