FLAMENCO G.
Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
West Peoria, Illinois
October 1st
female, small, baby
DESCRIPTION
Don't let the face fool you—she looks offended by your existence, but she's actually a very soft little soul.
Our approximately 3-month-old orange-and-white girl has a pretty serious case of RBF, but underneath it is one of the softest, sweetest little personalities. She's timid at first and likes to take her time figuring things out, but once she decides you're safe, the tough little face gives way to a very gentle, very lovable kitten.
Flamenco had a rough start and was found extremely sick with an upper respiratory infection. She has been treated and has completely healed, although she may still have occasional residual sneezing. She is not contagious. As with many kittens who have had a difficult beginning, future life stressors may occasionally affect her immune system, and she may benefit from supplements such as lysine if recommended by her veterinarian.
She also has a very strange little talent: somehow meowing without opening her mouth. Tiny ventriloquist. No explanation.
She's quiet, tender, a little cautious, and incredibly easy to love. Her face may say “don't speak to me,” but her personality is much more “please be patient with me and then love me forever.”
If you have a soft spot for shy little kittens with big personalities and even bigger facial expressions, submit an adoption application and come meet her. She may look skeptical, but she just might be waiting for you.
The adoption fee covers their spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, flea/tick preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration. You can apply at https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptcat/
