DESCRIPTION
This stunningly handsome boy is Finnegan. He also goes by Finn, Finny, Hot Stuff, and Good Boy! Finnegan integrated into his foster home and the resident pack of several dogs seamlessly, he is very dog friendly. He takes corrections from the other dogs nicely and has great manners. He knows sit, we have not tested other commands yet. He does gently jump up and stretch himself (which is super cute) when he is wanting some attention and pets. Finnegan is a sensitive soul. He is housebroke and knows how to use a doggie door in his foster home. He has also met a toddler and was very gentle and great with her. We are not sure of his exact breed mix but suspect he is mostly pitty mix, although his sending rescue listed him as a boston terrier mix. Finn has gained some weight in his foster home and is between 45-50 pounds and is about 1 and a half years old. This boy has a calm, sweet personallity but also enjoys a good play with other dogs, making him a great fit for almost any home lifestyle. His adoption fee of $300 covers his neuter, microchip with registration, heartworm test (negative), vaccines, dewormer, and current monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventions. ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
