She was an incredible mother, carefully keeping her babies hidden in a woodpile near the home of a kind community member. Over time, trust was built, and Diamond began bringing her kittens to the porch each day for meals, showing just how intelligent and devoted she is.

Thanks to that growing friendship, Diamond and her kittens are now safe. Her babies have been captured and are thriving in foster care, and Diamond has been spayed so she will never again have to endure pregnancy or the difficult task of protecting kittens from harsh weather and predators.
