***Nicholas was a wandering tom until injuries he sustained became obvious to the feeder and decision was made to capture him so veterinary help can be sought. He recovered beautifully, and in the course of his rehabilitation, showed camaraderie with other young, playful male cats, and of course, enjoyed the calm, reassuring company of female cats in the foster room. Nicholas would do quite nicely with other social and affable cats in his new home.
Meet Nicholas!
Nicholas is a stunning 4 year old buff ginger gentleman with luxurious medium-length fur, adorable ear tufts, and a spectacular fluffy tail that deserves a fan club of its own! Whether hes perched atop a cat tree with his magnificent tail cascading over the edge or soaking up a warm sunbeam, Nicholas has a regal presence thats impossible to ignore.
This handsome boy was found wandering a neighbourhood, trying to make his way into peoples homes. It is clear he may have once belonged to someone, because although he can be a little hesitant about being picked up, he absolutely loves being around people and is happiest when he is close to his humans. He is also quite chatty and enjoys letting you know when he'd like attention, a meal, or simply a little company. With patience, reassurance, and a few tasty treats, his confidence continues to blossom every day.
Nicholas has thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other cats in his foster home, and we believe he'd love to have a feline companion in his forever home. He's grown particularly fond of Pom Pom and his playful energy, but also enjoys the company of the more gentle females.
When it comes to food, Nicholas is never one to miss a meal! He adores his wet food and is highly treat motivated, making him an easy student when earning his trust or learning new routines.
He also has a playful side. Wand toys and spring toys are among his favourites, and he will happily show off his hunting skills during playtime before settling into one of his favourite lounging spots to supervise the foster room from above.
Nicholas has impeccable litter box manners, keeps his beautiful coat well groomed, and has made himself right at home in every cozy spot he can find. But despite enjoying the comforts of foster care, he waits hopefully each day for the door to open, dreaming that someone will finally tell him, Nicholas... it is your turn to go home!

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
