Leo - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Petersburg, Virginia

Offer Leo your hand and he will push his chin right into it, then hold still with his eyes half closed so you know exactly where to keep scratching.

Leo is an adult male cat with a smooth gray coat, a white chin and chest, and four white paws that look like he stepped in a little paint on his way in.

He is a friendly cat who goes looking for affection rather than waiting for it. Leo comes to the front of his kennel when someone walks up, and he is happiest when there is a person close enough to pet him. He would suit someone who wants a cat that is part of the day, not one who disappears under the bed.

We prefer to schedule appointments for meet and greets to make sure someone is available to spend time with you. The shelter is open Monday through Friday, 12pm to 4pm, and appointments outside of those hours may be available based on volunteer availability.
