Big Floof is the dark counterpart, and this is where it gets good. Deep charcoal, glossed with green and violet in the right light, with a pale ring around each eye that sits across an otherwise solemn face exactly like a mask — a genuine dead ringer for a certain caped, masked swordsman. But the name gives away the twist. For all the brooding dark-knight styling, “Big Floof” is, in the end, a big floof: the fearsome look is a front for a bird who mainly wants to cuddle.
