Meet Tee Cup, an eleven-year-old Yorkie mix weighing seven pounds.

Tee Cup is a tiny senior sweetheart who has been through a lot and is ready for the loving, gentle home she deserves.

She came to us after being seized by Animal Control along with Sue due to unsanitary living conditions. When Tee Cup arrived, she needed significant care and attention, including treatment for a large open wound on the back of her neck that required many stitches. We were told the injury occurred while attempts were being made to cut out severe matting from her coat. Moving forward, regular grooming will be very important to keep Tee Cup comfortable and prevent painful mats from forming again.

Tee Cup also arrived with severe dental disease and may need follow-up dental care, along with the routine veterinary care that comes with being a senior dog. Her future family should be prepared to provide the extra TLC that helps older pets thrive.

Despite everything she has experienced, Tee Cup remains a sweet, gentle girl who simply wants to be near her people. She enjoys companionship, affection, and the comfort of knowing she is safe. She is a good girl who has shown us that her past hasn't taken away her ability to love.
