Amber - Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd Dog Dog Available for Adoption in Yakima, Washington

AMBER

Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd Dog
🇺🇸
Yakima, Washington
June 3rd
female, large, baby

DESCRIPTION

Meet Amber, a two-and-a-half-month-old Lab/German Shepherd mix weighing 15 pounds.

Amber is a sweet and spirited puppy who came to us through our My Last Litter Program, an initiative designed to help reduce pet overpopulation by spaying mother dogs while finding loving homes for their puppies. Thanks to this program, Amber has the chance to start her life with a family who will cherish her for years to come.

This friendly girl loves people and has never met a stranger. Amber is outgoing, well-socialized, and enjoys being part of the fun. She is full of puppy curiosity and loves exploring her surroundings, making new friends, and soaking up attention from everyone she meets. Her affectionate personality and happy attitude make her a joy to be around.

Like all puppies, Amber is still learning about the world and will need a family committed to helping her grow into a well-mannered adult dog. Her adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, digging, playing energetically, and occasional accidents as she learns her house-training routine. Puppies learn best through consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, and Amber will thrive with gentle guidance and clear expectations.

Continued socialization, basic obedience training, and plenty of positive experiences will help Amber build confidence and develop good manners. Puppy classes can be a great way to help her learn important skills while providing opportunities for enrichment and bonding with her new family.

Amber is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of puppy cuddles to a lucky home. If you're looking for a friendly, social, and loving companion who is eager to learn and grow alongside you, Amber may be the perfect addition to your family!

This pet is available for adoption on 6.2.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.
