Meet Scarlett!
Scarlett is a precious little toy-breed mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body! At around a year old, she is a spunky, sweet little girl who has an adorable way of making herself known.

Scarlett was found alongside Rhett at Cherokee Park. We made every effort to locate their owners, including checking for a microchip and posting them through all the appropriate channels. After more than a month with no one coming forward, we’re ready to help Scarlett find her forever home.

Scarlett and Rhett have been through a lot of change together, and their bond is very important to us. We strongly prefer that they be adopted together. Having each other has provided familiarity and comfort while everything else around them has changed.

Like Rhett, Scarlett is still working on her house training. She has made progress as she has settled into life at the rescue, but we want her future family to understand that moving into a new home will be another big transition. It would be completely normal to see some setbacks with potty training as she adjusts to a new environment. With patience, consistency, and time, we expect her to continue making progress.

Scarlett is a sweet, spunky little girl who deserves a family willing to let her decompress, learn, and settle into her new life at her own pace.

Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate.

The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
