Meet Ranger!

If you've spent any time at Noah's Arc, chances are you've met Ranger. He's one of our longest residents, having come to us from another rescue after being pulled from Greene County Animal Shelter. He's been with us for a long time, and while he's comfortable with the people he knows here, we know he'd love the opportunity to have a home of his own.

Ranger is smart, playful, and incredibly eager to please. He may hold the record for the fastest sit at Noah's Arc — ask him to sit and he's already there! He loves to fetch, play, and spend time with his people.

Ranger is comfortable on leash with familiar handlers and does well with other dogs. We believe he could live with another dog with a proper introduction and an experienced adopter. He's never had the opportunity to live in a home, so he'll need some patience as he learns things like house training and life outside the rescue. We think this smart boy will catch on quickly.

Ranger has been waiting a long time. He's a fantastic dog with so much to offer — he just needs someone willing to give him the chance.

About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue

Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue located in East Tennessee. Since 1991, we have been dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats and helping them find safe, loving, lifelong homes.

Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate, unless otherwise noted.

Meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment after an adoption application has been submitted. Our adoption process is designed to help each pet find the right forever home.

With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
