Growing up in a shelter means Lars hasn't had the chance to experience the comfort and security of a home of his own. Because of that, he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But give him patience, kindness, and a little time, and you'll begin to see the gentle, loving cat underneath that initial hesitation.

Lars is a quiet, sweet boy who enjoys life at his own pace. Once he feels safe, he'll reward your patience with soft purrs, gentle companionship, and the kind of trust that feels incredibly special when you've earned it from a cat who has spent his whole life waiting.

About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue
Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue located in East Tennessee. Since 1991, we have been dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats and helping them find safe, loving, lifelong homes.

Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate, unless otherwise noted.

Meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment after an adoption application has been submitted. Our adoption process is designed to help each pet find the right forever home.
