HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt). Please use our official website rather than the Petfinder "Start your Inquiry" button.
Meet Bradley #12, Our Very Own Scooby-Doo! If Scooby Doo were a real dog, we are pretty sure his name would be Bradley!
Bradley is a handsome 6 1/2 year-old, 75 lb yellow lab mix, and this boy is ALL legs, ALL love, and ALL personality! He is tall, lanky, a little goofy, and absolutely has NO idea just how big he is!
But what Bradley lacks in spatial awareness, he more than makes up for with his HUGE heart! This sweet angel is truly one of the most lovable boys you will ever meet. He absolutely adores his people and wants nothing more than to be right in the middle of whatever everyone is doing. If you are looking for a dog who wants to be part of the family, Bradley is your guy!
And speaking of family, Bradley loves EVERYONE! He gets along wonderfully with all his foster doggie friends, is great with cats, and absolutely loves kids! He is just a big, gentle, goofy sweetheart who wants to love and be loved.
Bradley is also house trained and crate trained, and this handsome boy has some manners, too! He already knows sit and shake, and he’ll happily show off his skills! He also knows how to appreciate the finer things in life, especially a big, soft, fluffy bed where he can stretch out those long legs!
Now, we do have one little warning! Because Bradley is so tall, kitchen counters are right at his level. So if you leave food sitting out, do not be surprised if Bradley decides to help you clean up! Consider him your very own four legged counter clearing service!
But here is the part that breaks our hearts.
Bradley spent his entire life with a family and children. For 6 years, that was all he knew. He had a home, people to love, and a family he thought he would grow old with. Sadly, his family decided they no longer had time for him, and just like that, Bradley lost the only home he had ever known.
And the sweetest part? Despite everything, Bradley has not lost one bit of his love for people. He still trusts, still loves with his whole heart, and still just wants to belong.
Bradley deserves SO much better. He deserves a family who will never decide they’re too busy for him. A family who will laugh at his goofy antics, make room for those long legs on a fluffy bed, and love him every single day for the rest of his life.
At 6 1/2 years old, Bradley is not asking for much. Just a soft place to land, people to call his own, and the promise that this time, forever really means forever.
Whoever adopts this sweet, lanky Scooby Doo lookalike is getting one incredible dog. And we can not wait for Bradley to finally get the happy ending he deserves!
