Meet Tessa - Small but MIGHTY!

Tessa is a little female Pitbull with a BIG personality and what I like to call the typical Pitbull attitude! When Daddy wanted to name her "Princess," we probably should have listened because, honestly, it would have been the perfect name for her.

Tessa has a way of making sure you understand exactly what she wants. She tells you when she's happy, tells you when she wants to go outside, tells you when she wants to stand by the fence and watch the cats next door, tells you when she's bored, and definitely tells you when it's time for bed!

She is a sweet, loving baby who will absolutely steal your heart. She loves her people and will give you more love than you could ever imagine.

But Tessa is also an alpha girl. Unfortunately, that has become the reason we need to find her a new home. She recently had a scuffle with another Pitbull rescue, and since then Mom has been worried and paranoid that another fight could happen.

As much as I love this girl, I'm in my early 60s, and breaking up Pitbull fights is definitely not at the top of my bucket list!
I truly believe Tessa may do best as an only dog, where she can be the queen of her castle and soak up all the love and attention for herself.

Please don't let her size fool you - she is small but mighty! She has a huge personality, a huge heart, and an even bigger capacity to love.

We aren't looking to simply "get rid of" Tessa. We want to find her the right home - someone who understands her personality, can give her the structure and attention she needs, and will love her as
much as we do.
