Meet Ducky!

Ducky’s story started in a heartbreaking way. Her mom was found tied to a pole with a heavy 7-pound chain wrapped so tightly she could barely move after giving birth to her puppies. Thankfully our team stepped in and rescued the entire family (except one puppy who sadly didn't make it). While the rest of the litter moved on to another rescue, tiny Ducky wasn’t thriving and needed extra help. She came into one of our bottle baby foster homes, where she’s been surrounded by love, safety, full bellies, and gentle care ever since.

Now Ducky is finally ready to find a forever family of her very own. She’s a sweet, silly little girl who can be a tiny bit shy at first, but once she realizes she’s safe, her playful personality starts shining through. She loves other dogs and would absolutely adore having a friendly canine buddy in her future home to romp around and snuggle with. She’s also fine with cats and would do well with kids who understand that puppies are equal parts adorable and energetic chaos. Puppies her age do not come completely housetrained, but she's been doing great with patience and a consistent routine.

Ducky may have had a rough beginning, but thankfully she was rescued early enough to grow up knowing love instead of fear. Now all she needs is the happy ending she deserves — a family who will cherish her forever, laugh at her goofy puppy antics, and remind her every day that she never has to struggle again.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimates based on physical characteristics and any known history.
