Sometimes rescue stories surprise you in the very best way… and ArchiBald is definitely one of those stories. 🖤

This little 3 month old poodle/Shih Tzu mix came to us from a shelter in Philadelphia as an owner surrender. Because of his congenital issues, he was initially expected to stay with us as a hospice pup.

ArchiBald was born with some differences that make him extra unique — he has baldness and abnormal tooth growth, leaving him with only a handful of tiny teeth in those little chompers. But let me tell you… his appetite has absolutely not gotten the memo. 😂

After genetic testing, vet visits, and getting to watch him simply be a puppy, we realized something important: ArchiBald is doing really well. He’s happy, playful, thriving, and not showing signs that would make us feel he needs permanent hospice care.

So now? We’d absolutely love to see this special little guy find the forever family he deserves.

ArchiBald LOVES people, other dogs, treats, and zooming around a fenced yard like he owns the place. He’s goofy, joyful, and completely unaware that he looks a little different than everyone else.

Honestly, we think that just makes him even more perfect.
