When Solomon first came to us with his brothers a few months ago, we honestly weren’t sure what the outcome would be.
The shelter had reached out about this tiny band of brothers because they were considered “failure to thrive.” They weren’t eating, weren’t taking formula, and desperately needed help. Solomon was the smallest of the bunch… but apparently nobody told him that. 🖤
From the very beginning, this little guy had the biggest determination to grow strong. After only a few spoon-fed meals, Solomon quickly figured out how to eat like a big boy and even seemed to encourage his brothers to do the same.
He did have a rough start physically, especially with constipation issues that left him uncomfortable and needing help getting cleaned out. But almost immediately after relieving the small blockage, Solomon bounced right back and proudly handled things on his own from there.
And through every single step of it, he has been nothing but loving.
Solomon is what we lovingly call a “human cat.” He absolutely adores people and wants to be wherever his humans are. He loves cuddles, enjoys playing with both people and other cats, and turns into a full blown purring machine the second someone picks him up.
He may have started out as the tiniest brother, but Solomon’s heart has always been the biggest part of him.
