Gideon and his brothers came to us a few months ago, he was one of the tiny babies the shelter feared might not make it. The band of brothers had been labeled “failure to thrive” because they weren’t eating or taking formula on their own. Gideon was slower to independently eat just like his brothers, but while the others were figuring out meals… Gideon apparently decided he would focus on academics first. 😂 He was the very first one to figure out the litter box and has continued proving ever since that he’s the smartest little observer of the group.

Gideon isn’t much for chaos or rough housing. Instead, he prefers to sit off to the side in a soft bed, quietly supervising everyone else’s shenanigans like the tiny hall monitor he was born to be. He loves watching the action unfold, especially if it means he can stay cozy while doing it.

That said, he absolutely enjoys playtime too — especially string toys and laser pointers, as long as a human is involved in the fun. Gideon adores his people and his cat brothers alike, particularly when cuddles are involved.

Bring a soft blanket and some gentle pets, and his little purr motor immediately kicks into overdrive. 🖤

He’s also an absolute gentleman at mealtime. Gideon never pushes his way to the food bowl and patiently waits for his turn instead. He may be the gentlest of the brothers, but he’s also the most observant — quietly taking in everything around him with those thoughtful little eyes.
