Meet Calypso, a truly devoted "Pocket Pyr" with a heart every bit as beautiful as she is. At under 55 pounds, this perfectly petite girl has been waiting her whole short life to discover the wonderful "after" she deserves.

Calypso and her puppies were rescued from a hoarding situation, and she proved to be an incredibly sweet and devoted mama. Now thriving in her foster home, her babies are ready for their own lives--and so is Calypso.

Calypso can be a little timid at first, but beneath that shyness is an incredibly gentle, loving soul. She is sweet with people of all ages and forms deep bonds with those she trusts.

Her beautiful eyes seem to say everything. Calypso doesn't simply look at her person--she gazes at them with an expression of pure devotion, as though searching for the heart that will finally treasure her forever. Those precious eyes recently required surgery to correct inward-turning eyelids, and she has handled it all like the gentle girl she is.

One of Calypso's most endearing traits is her polite little "Pyr Paw." She doesn't jump or demand attention. Instead, she ever-so-gently places a soft paw on you and pulls you a little closer, her quiet way of saying, "I'm right here, and I love you." Even sweeter, she passed that gentle nature on to her puppies, who learned the very same affectionate little nudge from their mama.

Calypso isn't interested in loudness or being the life of the party. She's a peaceful, low-key homebody who would much rather enjoy quiet cuddles on the couch or relax in the back seat while joining her person for a car ride.
