Corndog - Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Princeton, Massachusetts

Meet Corndog! We are not exaggerating when we say Corndog has some of the most soulful, melt-your-heart puppy dog eyes we have ever seen. And look at that dapper little red-and-white patterned bandana he's wearing--he is truly a little gentleman!

Him and his sister, Cotton Candy, (also up for adoption) inherited their good looks from their sweet mama, Calypso, (picture of her attached) who was also rescued from an awful hoarding situation in AL. Mama is also ready for a forever home.

Corndog is a short-coat Great Pyrenees mix of pure love. You can already see his unique personality in his striking features--he's got a perfect white blaze and distinct brown patches around his eyes that give him a wise and sweet expression. He's often found sitting very politely, just waiting for his next human connection.

Compared to his inquisitive and constantly busy sister, Corndog has a wonderfully chill energy. Don't let his calm demeanor fool you, though--this boy has a serious playful side! His absolute favorite pastime is a good game of tug-of-war.

He's happy to play with any willing person. When playtime is over, Corndog will quickly show you his true specialty: the "lean-in snuggle." This little sweetheart will walk right up to you, lean all his weight against you, and give you the best, warmest cuddles you can imagine.

$100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee applies to Massachusetts residents.

Adoption Fee Includes:
~Preadoption vaccinations, complete examinations, and microchipping.
~Spay/neuter surgery rebate, paid to the adopter once proof of surgery is provided to Paws New England. We are happy to provide a list of low-cost spay/neuter clinics upon request.

ATTENTION:
Puppies are wonderful--but they are also a big commitment. Before applying, please make sure you're ready for the time, patience, and training they require.

>Puppies should not be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
>Your home will need to be puppy-proofed.
>Expect chewing, nipping, scratching, accidents, and lots of supervision while they learn.
>If you have young children, be sure they're prepared for normal puppy behavior.
>Training, socialization, exercise, and consistency are essential.

Unless you're an experienced dog owner and your Adoption Coordinator is comfortable with your experience, you will be required to attend puppy training and/or behavior classes. Our goal is to help you and your puppy build a happy, successful, lifelong relationship.

Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout the South and New England.

Your adoption donation helps cover veterinary care, transportation, and other expenses for your adopted dog. It also helps us continue to save senior dogs and dogs with serious medical needs or injuries. While their adoption donations are often reduced, their veterinary costs are typically much higher.

When you adopt a young, healthy dog or puppy, you're also helping us give another dog a second chance. Thank you for supporting our mission and making rescue possible.

Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. They require early socialization and consistent training to manage their independent yet devoted temperament effectively.

The Great Pyrenees is a majestic and noble breed known for its gentle demeanor and steadfast loyalty. Originating from the Pyrenees Mountains, these large and dignified dogs are renowned for their protective instincts and ability to work as livestock guardians.
