Meet 7-Up!

7-Up is a handsome male Shepherd mix born in late June 2026 who came to us from local animal control with his siblings. He’s a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves cuddles and attention and is ready to find a family of his very own.

Like his siblings, 7-Up is good with other dogs and cats. He enjoys all the typical puppy things—playing with toys, exploring his surroundings, romping around with his friends, and then settling in for some well-earned snuggles. He’s at a wonderful age to begin learning what life as a loved family dog is all about.

Of course, puppies are adorable, but they are also a lot of work! 7-Up will need continued house training, crate training, leash work, basic obedience, socialization, and help learning appropriate puppy manners. There will be accidents, chewing, messes, and probably a few things disappearing that you could have sworn you put out of reach. Patience, consistency, and positive training are incredibly important during this stage.

As a Shepherd mix, 7-Up will likely grow into an intelligent, active dog who will need regular exercise, mental stimulation, training, and plenty of interaction with his family. Keeping both his brain and his body busy will help him grow into a happy, confident adult.

Please remember that adopting a puppy is a commitment for his entire life. His family needs to be prepared for quality food, routine veterinary care and preventatives, training, exercise, and all the expenses and responsibilities that come with dog ownership. Dogs aren't temporary commitments when life gets busy or circumstances change—they depend on their families through every stage of life.
