Wemby is a 5-year-old, 17-pound boy who came to us after being found as a stray and somehow, he still greets the world like everyone is already his friend!

While the human Wemby might be chasing NBA championships, this Wemby is already winning where it counts: in everyone's hearts!! He is genuinely one of those dogs that surprises you in the best way. You'd never guess he'd been on his own based on how quickly he leans into people. Pick him up, and he melts into it. Sit down, and he's right there. New person, new dog, he's interested, friendly, and ready to connect.

Wemby has a nice balance to him. He's playful and enjoys getting out to explore and have fun, but he's just as happy settling in and relaxing with his people. He reads the room well and adjusts his energy easily, which makes him a great companion in a variety of homes.

He's also very treat motivated (and not subtle about it). Snacks make training easy and he's always ready to participate if food is involved. With other dogs, Wemby does great.
