ZuZu is about 4 years old, 20 pounds, and has that really special kind of personality that makes people pause and go "wait, she's actually perfect."

She came to us after her previous owner started a new job with long hours and couldn't keep up with her care anymore. When she arrived, she had been shaved down while someone in the home was learning grooming. Not ideal, but it's behind her now. Her coat is growing back in and she's starting to look more like herself every day!

And honestly, she's been handling everything like a champ. ZuZu is one of those dogs who just feels good to be around. She's friendly with people, happy to meet new faces, and settles in quickly once she realizes she's safe. With other dogs she's social and curious, and she likes being part of the group without making things complicated.

She also has a playful side. She'll explore, engage, and get excited about little moments throughout the day, then happily come back in for attention and affection.

ZuZu does have luxating patellas, but they are mild and do not require surgery. She gets around well, walks normally, and still enjoys being active. She does best with steady, moderate exercise like walks and light play, and she should avoid a lot of jumping or rough, high-impact activity so her knees stay comfortable long term.
