Meet Minnow! She's about 7 years old, weighs 18 pounds, and has perfected the art of looking like a tiny, innocent little lady right before taking off across the yard at full speed.

Minnow came to us as a relinquishment after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She had spent a lot of time outside, and unfortunately, that showed when she arrived. She was dealing with fleas, itchy skin, and some hotspots that clearly weren't very comfortable. Thankfully, we've gotten all of that under control and she's feeling so much better now.

Minnow is carrying a few extra pounds, but don't let that fool you. This girl is active and SPUNKY! Give her some room and she'll happily zip around the yard, chase after toys, and get right in the middle of whatever the other dogs are doing. She loves to play and has plenty of energy when she's in the mood to show it off.

She's also lived with cats before and did well with them, so apparently Minnow is perfectly happy sharing her world with pretty much anyone. Minnow is friendly with people of all ages and loves being included. She seems happiest when she's part of the family rather than sitting on the sidelines. She wants to know what's going on, where everyone is, and whether she's invited! For the record... she knows she's always invited.;)

Her new family will need to help her get back to a healthier weight, which means regular exercise and keeping an eye on those snacks. Fortunately, Minnow seems to think exercise is a pretty good idea, so we're already halfway there. What she really needs now is a home where she can settle in, get spoiled, and finally enjoy being someone's very best friend.

She's sweet, silly, energetic when she wants to be. She's totally perfect!! And after spending too much of her life outside, we're ready for Minnow to experience the good stuff: soft beds, toys, family time, regular meals, and being thoroughly pampered.
