Rori has a pretty simple list of priorities, and honestly, she's onto something: Be near people. Get cuddled. Eat snacks. Repeat.

This little lady is about 8 years old and weighs 16 pounds. She was found as a stray and ended up at SEAACA, where she developed a URI and started running out of time. We couldn't let her get overlooked because she was sick, so we went and got her and brought her to Pug Nation to get the care she needed and find her the home she deserves.

Her cough lingered for quite a while after she arrived, and she also had some pretty unhappy skin and a patchy coat. But she stuck with it. Eventually the cough cleared, her skin settled down, and that soft fur started coming back. These days you'd have a hard time believing this is the same dog who arrived back then!

What hasn't changed is Rori's absolute commitment to being loved. She LOVES attention. Not "oh, attention is nice." More like, "Excuse me, are you currently petting me? If not, I have some suggestions."

She is happiest when she's getting affection from her people and she is perfectly willing to accept it from pretty much anyone who happens to be available. Cuddling is a favorite activity, as are treats, and if you happen to get lucky she may even perform a little trick in exchange for one!

Rori also has excellent manners with her canine buds. She enjoys other dogs and likes a little gentle play but she's not looking to start a wrestling tournament. She's much more interested in hanging out, MAYBE chasing a toy or two and then cuddling up in a big pug pile.

There's something wonderfully uncomplicated about this girl. She just wants people around her, a comfortable place to sleep, some snacks, and plenty of affection.
