Diego!

Diego Is a super GORGEOUS Portuguese Waterdog mix. Possibly Poodle/Labrador is in the mix too. He has long, black poodle fur which is soft to the touch. He has beautiful dark eyes and the heart of a teddy bear.

Diego was saved from a local shelter and is 2 years old. He currently weighs about 55 pounds and will likely top off around 60-65 pounds. He can jump and leap and has lots of energy. He looks heavier than he is, but that is because of his bouffant hairdo. He is a fluffy adventure seeker!

Diego settles down nicely and is quite calm once he releases his energy with playtime or a brisk walk. He absolutely adores cuddling and giving big hugs on his hind legs. With the heart of a teddy bear, Diego will make a great companion to take on adventures.


GETTING DIEGO TO YOU:

Diego is microchipped & vaccinated and soon-to-be neutered. He is housebroken on a schedule. He will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Adoption fee is $495 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

The Portuguese Water Dog is a charismatic and intelligent breed known for its playful nature and exceptional swimming abilities. Highly trainable and loyal, they excel in various activities such as obedience training and agility competitions.
