Skipper is a precious Great Pyrenees puppy who exudes goofy puppy joy. He has the happiest expression and is the first to bounce toward a visitor for a human hug or two. Skipper is extremely friendly and affectionate and a lover of playtime and cuddles. He is one of five siblings and loves tumbling around with his brother and sisters.

As Skipper grows, he will lean into his Pyrenees traits, which are to love and protect his family. He will be a gentle giant. Calm, loyal, patient and deeply devoted to his people. Skipper will quietly watch over children in the yard, follow family from room to room and make sure that everyone is safe.

Born April 1st, 2026, Skipper currently weighs about 24 pounds. He will weigh 60-70lbs when fully grown. He is dreaming of a home filled with a soft bed, belly rubs, backyard adventures, and humans to love forever. Skipper is just a baby but we are working on potty-training.

Skipper will be neutered at age-appropriate time, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his/her new family.

Currently he is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
